March 10th, 2012, Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center, $5/person, 9am-11am
Did you know wetlands are among the most productive ecosystems in the
world one-third of the endangered species in the United States depend on
wetlands for survival? Join naturalists on an adventure through wetlands on
site. During this program, participants will learn about the importance of
wetlands to wildlife to humans. After a short discussion, participants can
join naturalists on a discovery walk through an on-site wetland using
binoculars, nets, buckets! Be prepared to get your hands dirty be sure to
